Ravensberger

Lightweight, flexible and stylish

Ravensberger is one of the lightest flat roof tiles on the market. Weighing less than 35 kg per m², it is ideal for re-roofing houses with a lightweight roof construction, typical of the 1950s to 1970s.

A tile that easily combines function, tradition and modern design.

Brick diversity for a Berlin industrial monument - Meyer-Holsen at the Friedrichshagen waterworks

A project like this doesn't come along every day: we supplied tiles that had to meet the highest aesthetic and technical requirements for the refurbishment of the roofs of the historic pumping machine houses A and B of the Friedrichshagen waterworks in Berlin in line with the preservation order.

The monument preservation authorities set clear specifications: Tile shape, cut length and, above all, a natural color play of three different shades of red were to match the original covering as closely as possible.

We supplied the entire roof area of approx. 3,200 m²:

Why Meyer-Holsen?
👉 "The bricks came closest to the historical original - this was the only reason we were able to issue the tender with material specifications."
- Ina Paul, Site Manager, Berliner Wasserbetriebe

We are proud to contribute our expertise to the restoration of this unique building in keeping with its listed status.
